WHISKEY PUNCH – GREAT FOR PARTIES

Punch is the perfect delivery method for alcohol when you want to throw a party but not get stuck behind the bar! Punch means you can have a glass of a delicious cocktail in your guests’ hands as they arrive. If you have it cold, then the punch will even out of the course of the party, starting out more potent then allowing the ice to dissolve and dilute it as the party goes on, great to keep festivities on track without overdoing it (too much – ha!)

PUNCH ETIQUETTE

Punch is the perfect crowd-pleaser, but make sure sure you have the right set up. A Punch bowl is obviously ideal but you can use a pot, bundt cake pan, soup tureen or any other container, just make sure it’s the right size for the number of guests. Have a ladle for guests to use. After a while some of the ingredients may settle at the bottom of the punch, so from time to time, use the ladle to stir the punch.

Decadent Milk Tea with Brown Sugar

Make your tea time creamy and sweet with milk tea. Super simple and delicious, my milk tea recipe is made special with half and a half and brown sugar. Milk Tea What is milk tea? In it’s most basic form, it’s tea with milk. That’s it. Oh, but wait, there’s more. Sure, you’ve got tea with a splash of milk but milk tea comes in a lot of different forms. When you add milk to an Earl Grey or English Breakfast, you’re drinking milk tea. Instead of cold milk, add frothed warm milk and you’ve got yourself a tea latte, which is milk tea. Add some boba balls to your milk tea and you’ve got a boba or bubble tea. Get some spices and black tea and you’ve got chai, an Indian version of milk tea. There’s also the popular Hong Kong-style milk tea which is made with evaporated or condensed milk. And finally, we have my version which is made with half & half and brown sugar. Smooth, sweet and creamy, just as milk tea should be. To Make This Milk Tea Assam black tea You can also use

Orange Brown Sugar Sweet Tea

#1: Grab the vegetable peeler and an orange and let’s get started.  Hold the orange firmly in one hand and, with the other hand, cut away the orange peel (the very outer, orange skin of the orange).  If you get a little of the white peel, the pith (remind anyone of Ethel Thayer?) it isn’t a big deal. #2: “Muddling”.  All it means, in this instance, is to mash an orange slice into the tea.  Right before serving the tea, place one half of an orange slice in the bottom of each glass and muddle, or mash, the orange to release the juice and oils.  Since I don’t own a muddler, I use the rounded end of my wooden spoon.  Muddle with slight force; just a couple of pushes and twists should be enough.
