THIS HOMEMADE VANILLA CHAI MIX IS AN EASY WAY TO ENJOY YOUR FAVORITE LATTE RIGHT AT HOME! JUST ADD STEAMED OR HOT MILK!
Do you ever crave a
sweet seasonal drink that’s not hot cocoa? Maybe you’re looking for something
lighter to sip on, something with holiday spice, or something that’s just
a little different. Well, a steaming mug of this spiced Vanilla Chai drink totally
fits the bill!
This recipe makes a
batch of a powdered mix that’s easy to prepare, share, and store. Just whisk a
few tablespoons of the mix with hot milk, and get ready to enjoy a mugful of
seasonal goodness!
In this recipe, tea is
blended with powdered vanilla creamer for a rich, smooth taste. Dashes of cardamom,
white pepper, cinnamon, ginger, and clove combine for a warm seasonal spice
that hits the spot on a cold morning.
You can drink Vanilla
Chai any time of the day! Prepare it with caffeinated tea to give it a slight
energy boost that’s more mild than coffee, or choose to keep it decaf. It’s
warm and soothing in the morning and also makes a great afternoon pick-me-up,
especially when paired with a biscotti or a slice of banana bread. Sometimes, I
like to make a warm mug of this stuff after dinner, when I’m wrapped in a
blanket with a good book. Because the powdered mix stores so well, you can make
a big batch and keep it on hand for whenever you need it.
Use Vanilla Chai mix and
Mason jars to make beautiful hostess gifts and party favours. This way, you
won’t have to arrive at the party empty-handed, or worry about guests leaving
without a memento! Sharing something special is always a thoughtful way to show
your gratitude; because, without a doubt, this will be one of your favourite
cold-weather recipes this winter.
